President Young Democrats New Mexico
Joslyn Gabaldon
Joslyn Gabaldon was elected as President of the Young Democrats of New Mexico in July, 2023. She will serve in that capacity for a 2-years term ending in 2025. Joslyn started her political work in Valencia County. She has helped organize multiple events for YDVC and YDNM. In addition to her duties as President of YDNM, Joslyn is a member of the Affirmative Action Committee. Professionally Joslyn completed her Doctorate in Pharmacy at UNM, completed two years of residency, and is currently employed as a staff pharmacist at UNMH. In her personal life, Joslyn lives with her husband, Gabriel, and has a newborn son. She also has three fur babies.

Bushra Elfarissi
Bushra Elfarissi is a political professional with a background in Political Science and Statistics, graduating from the University of New Mexico in 2022. She served as the Digital Director of the Democratic Party of New Mexico for nearly two years, gaining invaluable political experience in digital campaigning, thus helping Democrats win elections up and down the ballot. She will continue volunteering with the Democratic Party of New Mexico to protect these rights at home.

I am happy that I am your Secretary in the Political News there are a lot of topics and issues in the House, the Senate, the Judicial System the Executive branch the State House, and the State Senate. For young people, it is important to meet their candidate and to go vote and volunteer by attending an event posted online or on social media.

Marley Ramon
Raised in Albuquerque, Marley is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Art, with a minor in English at Mercyhurst University. She’s worked for the Executive Director of the Democratic Party for over three years while volunteering for the Young Democrats as a graphic designer. As a 2024 Truman scholar, Marley is devoted to helping New Mexicans through political change.
